Brad has been Trend Discovery’s Fund Manager since the fund’s inception in 2011. He has overall accountability for the fund and is responsible for executing the fund’s overall strategy. He carefully balances the allocation of capital to public and private investments in the pursuit of outstanding returns for the fund’s LPs while minimizing correlation to the markets.
An accomplished financial modeler, Brad previously completed financial forecasting projects for multi-billion-dollar consumer products and financial services clients, as well as government contractors and universities. Prior to the FP&A roles, Brad worked as a Senior Associate in Prudential’s Global Investment Management division where he was responsible for over 25 portfolio companies and $350M AUM.
When not in New York, Brad resides in Charleston, SC with his wife and two young children.
Brad received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Level II candidate in the Charted Market Technician Program.
Michael leads the identification and screening of potential investments and infuses capital in technology companies early and with conviction. He prioritizes companies with strong founding teams who have created products with clear competitive advantages in multi-billion dollar addressable markets.
Trained as an engineer and analytical problem solver, Michael previously led management consulting engagements for global Fortune 100 financial services, consumer products, energy and international development clients. Prior to consulting, Michael was an electrical engineer and product manager at the United States Department of Defense, where he managed multi-million-dollar product development efforts.
He resides in Saratoga Springs, NY with his wife and young son.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
